The Criminal Chamber of Al Hoceima Court of Appeal acquitted a 14-year-old teenager, named Abderrahman Azri, who is considered one of the youngest Hirak detainees, according to the Spanish online newspaper El Diario Vasco. Azri participated to a Hirak demonstration.

The minor was accused of «participating in the organization of an unauthorized protest» and «holding public rallies without permission».

Abderrahman Azri was arrested last August while attending the funeral of the young Hirak activist, Imad Attabi, who died Tuesday (August 8th) in Rabat; the latter had been hit in the head during clashes that followed the great march of July 20 in Al Hoceima, prohibited by the local authorities in the province.

The 14-year-old boy was accepted in a re-education center in Nador, alongside three other teenagers who were also acquitted by the same court yesterday.
