2018 World Cup : Morocco defeats Slovakia 2-1 in a friendly

Morocco defeated Slovakian national football team 2-1 in a friendly played Monday, 4th of June, in Geneva, Switzerland.

The Atlas Lions, to face Iranian squad on 15th of June in Russia, succeeded in scoring two goals through Berkane forward Ayoub El Kaabi (64 minutes), and the Galatasaray French-born Moroccan player Younés Belhanda (74 minutes).

Footballer Jan Gregus scored the Slovakia's only goal 59 minutes after the start of the game.

This is the fourth friendly the Atlas Lions play to prepare for the 2018 World Cup in Russia, where it is facing Spain and Portugal.

In March, the Atlas Lions defeated Uzbekistan 2-0 in a friendly held in Casablanca. During the same month, they won against Serbia 2-1 in Turin, Italy.
