Through a crowdfunding platform, Moroccan farm workers in Huelva have managed to reach their objective, by receiving €15,254 in 20 days, announced a Twitter account created to show support for these women on Wednesday.
The campaign was created in August on GoFundMe by the Association of the Administration of Justice Users (Ausaj) to raise money for ten Moroccan farm workers in Huelva.
These women have filed complaints in May, denouncing sexual and labor abuse. Their objective was to gather 15,000 euros as they are, currently, stuck in the Iberian country to attend hearings related to the complaints they lodged.
The money will also help support their families in Morocco which depend exclusively on them to survive.

For the record, Moroccan strawberry pickers have sought the help of Spain's National Court, urging it to consider taking care of their complaints, said El Pais last month.
These women refused to attend hearings hosted by the local courts in Huelva as they believe their cases deserve to be treated by Spain’s high court.
Speaking to Yabiladi, José Blanco, a member of SAT who is taking care of the Moroccan women, stressed that the women in question believe that the two courts in Huelva are «corrupt and that only Spain’s National Court can secure a fair trial for them».
In five days only, the crowdfunding campaign have managed to generate 5 000 euros.
According to Ausaj, the ten women «did not receive their salaries» and they are currently in a very «difficult situation», with no resources.
