After announcing earlier on Thursday, December the 20th, that it «had authenticated» a graphic video allegedly depicting the murder of one of the two Scandinavian tourists, the Danish Intelligence services (PET) «rowed back» in a communiqué released on the same day, the Guardian says.

PET said that said video is still being «examined», added the same source.

Meanwhile in Morocco, the Public Prosecutor's office announced Wednesday that the video, which was shared on social media on the same day, is being «investigated» by the authorities and informed that the results of the investigation will be announced upon conclusion.

Authorities in Morocco managed to arrest the four men suspected of killing the two Scandinavian women who arrived in Morocco to climb mount Toubkal. The arrestees are affiliated to a terrorist group, said the authorities.

For the record, the two women were found dead, Monday, in a tent near Imlil. Their bodies were discovered by French mountaineers.
