Police arrest a Dutch national suspected of selling fake foreign passports

A 48-year-old Dutch national was arrested, Wednesday, in Marrakech for his alleged involvement in a case related to falsification and the sale of fake foreign passports, MAP reported.

The investigation revealed that the suspect has allegedly tried to sell a foreign passport to an individual for MAD100,000, the General directorate of National Security (DGSN) said in a statement. The arrest resulted in seizing IT equipment, printing machines and documents used in forgery.

The Dutch national was remanded in custody and an investigation was launched by the public prosecutor’s office to determine the ins and outs of this case.
