Passenger air transport in Morocco reached an all-time record in June, with an increase of 26.54% compared to the same period in 2018, according to figures published on Monday by the National Airports Office (ONDA).

A total of 2,093,323 travelers passed through the Kingdom's airports during the month of June, representing an additional 439,000 passengers, says the same source in the monthly air traffic report.

A new growth record was also set by Mohammed V airport in Casablanca with a rate of 22.82%, by receiving 877,655 passengers.

In the same month, domestic traffic grew strongly by 52.97%, as did international traffic, which increased by 23.71%.
