In a phone call, King Abdullah II of Jordan discussed, Thursday, with King Mohammed VI «means to bolster Jordanian-Moroccan relations in various issues», Jordanian press agency Ammon News reports.
The two kings also talked about the developments on the region and the «importance of maintaining consultation and coordination in service of the two countries’ best interest», the news agency added.
In March 2019, the two sovereigns decided to implement concrete projects in the energy, agricultural and tourism fields. The Palestinian and Syrian issues were also at heart of their meeting, held during the trip of King Abdullah II of Jordan to Morocco.
In August, Jordanian Foreign Minister Ayman Safadi visited Tangier and held talks with his Moroccan counterpart Nasser Bourita.
