Maritime borders : After Rabat, the Spanish Foreign Minister to visit the Canary Islands

The Spanish Minister of Foreign Affairs is expected to arrive Friday, January 24, in Rabat. In the Moroccan capital, Arancha Gonzalez Laya will especially held talks with her counterpart, Nasser Bourita.

Morocco’s maritime borders will be at the heart of these talks. The next day, the minister will be heading to the Canary Islands to meet the socialist president of the archipelago, Angel Miguel Torres.

In a tweet, the minister promised to inform him about the content of her meetings in Morocco. Meanwhile, the autonomous executive asked the central government to update it on negotiations with the Moroccan side on this subject.
