Policemen seized Tuesday 1.48 ton of cannabis resin and arrested two people for their alleged links to a drug-trafficking criminal network.
The suspects, aged 50 and 54, were arrested on board a Morocco-registered truck near the city of Tinghir, National Police said in a press release.
Policemen discovered 1.48 ton of cannabis resin inside the truck, the source added.
The suspects were placed on custody while investigations are underway to identify all the people involved in this criminal network.
This operation is part of efforts exerted by security services to fight against drug trafficking networks
