Coronavirus : 227 new confirmed cases in Morocco, 2,251 in total

227 new cases of infection with the new coronavirus (Covid-19) were confirmed in Morocco until Thursday at 10:00 am, bringing the total number of confirmed cases in the country to 2,251, announced the Ministry of Health.

The number of recovered cases stood at 247 with 18 new recoveries, while the death toll stood at 128, said the ministry on the website "www.covidmaroc.ma".

The number of cases excluded after negative test results amounted to 9,182, said the same source.

The ministry invites citizens to respect the rules of hygiene and health security as well as the preventive measures taken by the Moroccan authorities by showing responsibility and patriotism.
