The number of confirmed coronavirus cases in Morocco jumps to 4,065

As of Sunday, April 26, 168 new confirmed coronavirus cases were recorded in Morocco, bringing the total number of Covid-19 infections in the country to 4,065.

During a daily press briefing, the head of the epidemiology and the fight against infectious diseases department at the Ministry of Health, Mohamed Lyoubi said that the coronavirus death toll has reached 161 while the number of recovered cases stands at 593.

He also added that 23,334 people have tested negative so far after undergoing coronavirus tests.
