Gradually lifting lockdown restrictions, Morocco’s Interior Ministry has decided to cancel the need of carrying special travel authorizations when traveling from one province to the other.

Officials and employees working in the public and private sectors are to benefit from the decision, the Ministry announced in a press release.

Instead of carrying an authorization to travel to other provinces, these workers will have to have travel orders signed by their employers.

For the record, Morocco has imposed an intercity travel ban as part of its efforts to avoid the spread of the coronavirus.
