151 Moroccans repatriated from Mauritania on Sunday

151 Moroccans arrived Sunday at the Dakhla airport in a Royal Air Maroc (RAM) flight from Mauritania as part of the repatriation of Moroccans stranded abroad due to the pandemic of the novel coronavirus.

The operation was conducted in full compliance with the precautionary measures and the health protocol in force to guarantee a safe and reassuring reception for these passengers, under the supervision of the competent authorities.

Wearing their protective masks, these people were able to carry out customs formalities on arrival and retrieve their luggage in a smooth and orderly manner, while complying with the instructions on social distancing and barrier gestures, with the use of hydroalcoholic gel dispensers.

This operation was carried out in compliance with preventive measures and the health protocol in force, in coordination with local authorities, national police, the royal gendarmerie, customs as well as the medical staff of the ministry of Health, the airport's commander, Aoutoul Abdelmounaim, said in a statement to MAP.
