Ittihad Tanger announced, Wednesday, that four new members of its team have tested positive for the coronavirus.

In a Facebook post, the football club said it had received the results of a second wave of tests. The results showed that four of the players are infected with the coronavirus.

Three members of the staff responsible for luggage as well as a player from the first team have already tested positive for Covid-19 during a screening operation carried out by the football club in early July, in preparation for the resumption of activities.

Yesterday, the Moghreb de Fez, playing in the second division of the national professional championship, also announced that six players have tested positive for the novel coronavirus, while two suspected cases are still awaiting screening results.
