1,241 new coronavirus cases were recorded in Morocco during the past 24 hours, bringing the total number of Covid-19 infections in the country to 37 935.
1,010 new recoveries were recorded in the past 24 hours, bringing the total number of recoveries in the Kingdom to 26,687.
28 deaths were recorded between yesterday and today, bringing the total number of deaths to 584. These deaths were recorded in Casablanca (8), Marrakech (5), Fez (3), Tangier (3), Errachidia (2), Ouarzazate (2), Rabat (1), Salé (1), Nador (1 ), Al Hoceima (1) and Boujdour (1).
Morocco now has 10,664 active cases under treatment, most of them are in the regions of Casablanca-Settat, Tanger-Tétouan-Al Hoceïma, Marrakech-Safi and Fez-Meknes.
156 cases are in a serious or critical condition because of age and / or chronic diseases, including 85 on ventilators. These cases are located in Casablanca-Settat (44), Marrakech-Safi (38), Tanger-Tétouan-Al Hoceïma (31), Rabat-Salé-Kénitra (15), Fez-Meknes (14), Souss-Massa (5 ), the Oriental (2), Drâa-Tafilalet (5), the Oriental (3) and Guelmim-Oued Noun (1).
The Casablanca-Settat region comes first with 393 new cases : 331 in Casablanca, 38 in Settat, 7 in Nouaceur, 5 in Mohammedia, 4 in El Jadida, 4 in Mediouana, two cases in Benslimane, one case in Berrchid and one case in Sidi Bennour. Then comes Rabat-Salé-Kénitra with 173 cases : 47 in Témara, 40 cases in Rabat, 36 in Sale, 27 in Kénitra, 17 in Khmissat and 6 cases in Sidi Kacem.
173 new cases were recorded in Fez-Meknes : 64 in Fès, 43 in Meknes, 20 in Taza, 15 in Sefrou, 14 in Taounate, 10 in El Hajeb, 4 in Ifrane and 3 in Moulay Yacoub.
Marrakech-Safi recorded 150 cases : 130 in Marrakech, 8 in Essaouira, 6 cases in the province of Rhamna, 5 in Kelaa des Sraghna and one case in the province of El Haouz.
Tangier-Tétouan-Al Hoceïma recorded 146 new cases : 96 in Tangier, 43 in Tetouan, 5 in M'diq-Fnideq, one case in Al Fahs Anjra and another in Larache.
In Draa-Tafilalet, 75 cases were recorded : 54 in Errachidia, 11 in Ouarzazate, 9 in Midelt and one case in Tinghir.
54 new cases were confirmed in Beni Mellal-Khénifra (16 in Kouribga, 14 in Azilal, 13 in Beni Mellal, 9 in Fqih Bensaleh and two cases in Khénifra), 32 cases recorded in the Oriental (10 cases in Oujda, 9 in Guercif, 4 in Nador, 4 in Figuig, 3 in Berkane, one case in Jerada and another in Dirouch) and 25 cases in Souss-Massa (16 in Agadir-Idda-Ou Tanan, 8 in Inzegane Ait Melloul and a case in Tiznit).
7 new cases were recorded in Dakhla (Dakhla-Oued Ed-Dahab), 5 cases Laayoune and two others in Boujdour (Laayoune-Sakia El Hamara). Six cases were identified in Guelmim-Oued Noun, 4 in Guelmim and two cases in Assa Zag.
