Morocco : Daily Covid-19 press briefings replaced as of Thursday by a written report

The Ministry of Health has announced that it will replace, as of Thursday, September 3rd, its daily briefings on the situation of Covid-19 by a written report in Arabic and French.

In a statement issued on Wednesday, the ministry said that the report will be made available to the media every day at 6 p.m., while the weekly statement will be replaced by a bimonthly press briefing dedicated to the evolution of the health situation.

The epidemiological situation will be updated every day on the ministry's website (www.sante.gov.ma), the source pointed out.

The ministry urges citizens to comply with the rules of hygiene as well as with the precautionary measures issued by the authorities, act with responsibility and show patriotism.

A daily press statement has been held every day at 6:00 p.m. since the start of the coronavirus pandemic, as part of the communication policy on the epidemiological situation, in addition to the presentation of a weekly report on this subject.
