Saudi club Al-Ittifaq has finally reached an agreement with Egypt’s Al Ahly regarding the contract of Moroccan striker Walid Azaro.

The two clubs have agreed to include Azaro in the summer transfer for «an exchange for 700 thousand dollars, in addition to the 100 thousand dollars that Al Ahly club receives the value of the remaining dues from the player’s loan in the past season», Al Khaleej Today reports.

Azaro is expected to participate in Al Ittifaq team’s training session next week. This agreement comes after the Agadir-born footballer played on loan with Al Ittifaq last season.

By the end of the season, Azaro refused to extend the loan as a «result of disagreement with the administration regarding salaries», the same source added. Consequently, the Saudi Federation issued a decision preventing Saudi teams from signing Azaro.

For the record, Azaro made 7 appearances with Saudi club Al-Taawon during his loan period.
