According to the latest report of the International Narcotics Control Board, Morocco recorded in 2018 the largest seizures of cannabis and cannabis resin in the region.
In its recent report on European drug markets, the European Monitoring Center for Drugs and Drug Addiction addressed innovations in drug production and trafficking methods for all drugs. The survey cites the involvement of Moroccan organized crime groups in the trafficking of cannabis resin and cocaine.
In Brussels, a group of unaccompanied Moroccan minors have been refusing to leave the streets and stay in minor reception centers. Despite their very young age, they roam the streets of the city, doing drugs and feeding their addictions.
