The 16th edition of the International Agricultural Forum in Morocco (SIAM) has confirmed that the prices of cattle for Eid al-Adha will increase this year by about 1,000 dirhams compared to last year, citing high fodder prices and drought.
Shortly after Morocco announced a travel ban to and from eight cities, hundreds of travelers had the worst trips trying to go home for Eid al-Adha.
Farmers, for whom cattle breeding is a major source of income, have denounced the drop in the prices of cattle, sheep and goats for Eid Al Adha, due to the impact of the coronavirus pandemic and the rainfall deficit.
