37.51.قَالَ قَائِلٌ مِّنْهُمْ إِنِّي كَانَ لِي قَرِينٌ

37.51. et l'un d'eux racontera : «J'avais un compagnon

37.51 . A speaker of them saith : Lo! I had a comrade

37.51. Qala qa-ilun minhum innee kana lee qareenun

37.52.يَقُولُ أَئِنَّكَ لَمِنْ الْمُصَدِّقِينَ

37.52. qui me disait : “Es-tu de ceux qui croient à la résurrection?

37.52 . Who used to say : Art thou in truth of those who put faith ( in his words ) ?

37.52. Yaqoolu a-innaka lamina almusaddiqeena

37.53.أَئِذَا مِتْنَا وَكُنَّا تُرَاباً وَعِظَاماً أَئِنَّا لَمَدِينُونَ

37.53. Crois-tu que, une fois morts et réduits à des ossements et à de la poussière, nous aurons des comptes à rendre?”

37.53 . Can we , when we are dead and have become mere dust and bones , can we ( then ) verily be brought to book?

37.53. A-itha mitna wakunna turaban waAAithaman a-inna lamadeenoona

37.54.قَالَ هَلْ أَنتُم مُّطَّلِعُونَ

37.54. Voudriez-vous, proposera-t-il, jeter un regard d'en haut?»

37.54 . He saith : Will ye look?

37.54. Qala hal antum muttaliAAoona

37.55.فَاطَّلَعَ فَرَآهُ فِي سَوَاء الْجَحِيمِ

37.55. Et, apercevant son compagnon au fin fond de l'Enfer,

37.55 . Then looketh he and seeth him in the depth of hell .
