Morocco records, 3,443 new coronavirus, 1,832 new recoveries in 24 hours

3,443 new coronavirus cases were recorded in Morocco during the past 24 hours, bringing the total number of Covid-19 infections in the country to 149,841.

1,832 new recoveries were recorded in the past 24 hours, bringing the total number of recoveries in the Kingdom to 124,854.

42 deaths were recorded between yesterday and today, bringing the total number of deaths to 2,572. 18 deaths were recorded in the Casablanca-Settat region, five in the Marrakesh-Safi region, four in Souss-Massa, four in Fez-Meknes, three in Beni Mellal Khenifra, two in the Rabat-Salé-Kenitra region, two in the Oriental region, two in Tangier-Tetouan-Al Hoceima, one death in the Draa Tafilalet region, and one in the Laayoune Sakia-El Hamra region.

The country has 22,415 active cases, including 445 in critical conditions. 41 of them are on ventilators.

1733 cases were recorded in the Casablanca-Settat region, 407 in Rabat-Salé-Kenitra, 250 in the Oriental region, 223 in the Marrakesh-Safi region, 204 cases in the Souss-Massa region, 194 cases in the Beni Mellal-Khenifra region, and 174 cases in the Tangier-Tetouan-Al Hoceima region.

103 cases were confirmed in the Draa Tafilalet region, 80 in the Fez-Meknes, 34 in the Laayoune Saguia el-Hamra, 32 in the Guelmim Oued Noun region, and 9 in the Dakhla region and Wadi al-Dahab.
