3,763 new coronavirus cases were recorded in Morocco during the past 24 hours, bringing the total number of Covid-19 infections in the country to 170,911.
2,392 new recoveries were recorded in the past 24 hours, bringing the total number of recoveries in the Kingdom to 141,381.
60 deaths were recorded between yesterday and today, bringing the total number of deaths to 2,878. 30 of these deaths were recorded in the region of Casablanca-Settat, 6 in Rabat-Salé-Kénitra, 6 in the Oriental, 5 in Beni Mellal-Khénifra, 4 in Tanger-Tétouan-Al Hoceima, 4 in Fès-Meknès , 2 in Marrakech-Safi, 2 in Souss-Massa and one death in Drâa-Tafilalet.
The country has 26,652 active cases, including 523 in critical conditions. 52 of them are on ventilators.
Casablanca-Settat recorded 1,809 cases: 1,435 in Casablanca, 83 in Nouaceur, 64 in Mohammedia, 61 in Settat, 52 in Berrechid, 52 in El Jadida, 33 in Mediouna, 24 in Benslimane and 5 in Sidi Bennour. Then comes Rabat-Salé-Kenitra with 475 new infections: 160 in Salé, 116 in Skhirat-Témara, 89 in Rabat, 83 in Kénitra, 17 in Sidi Kacem and 10 cases in Khemisset.
The Oriental region follows with 358 new cases: 231 in Oujda-Angad, 44 in Nador, 34 in Taourirt, 20 in Berkane, 19 in Figuig, 7 in Jerada and 3 cases in Guercif. 265 new infections were recorded in Souss-Massa: 168 in Agadir-Ida-Ou-Tanane, 46 in Inzegane-Ait Melloul, 29 in Taroudant, 13 in Tiznit and 9 cases in Chtouka-Ait Baha.
In Tanger-Tétouan-Al Hoceima, 261 new cases were confirmed: 91 in Tanger-Assilah, 68 in Tétouan, 46 in M'Diq-Fnideq, 21 in Chefchaouen, 19 in Al Hoceima, 10 in Larache, 5 in Ouazzane and one case in Fahs Anjra.
Beni Mellal-Khénifra follows with 189 new infections: 67 in Khouribga, 43 in Beni Mellal, 43 in Fqih Bensaleh, 23 in Azilal and 13 in Khénifra.
Marrakech-Safi recorded 178 new cases: 124 in Marrakech, 20 in Youssoufia, 13 in Kelaa des Sraghna, 9 in Essaouira, 7 in Rhamna, 4 in Chichaoua and one case in the province of Al Haouz.
77 confirmed infections were recorded in Drâa-Tafilalet (31 in Errachidia, 25 in Midelt, 16 in Ouarzazate, 4 in Tinghir and one case in Zagora) 62 in Fès-Meknes (18 in Fès, 11 in Taza, 10 in Meknes, 8 in El Hajeb, 7 in Sefrou, 7 in Boulmane and one case in Ifrane).
In the southern provinces, 43 new cases were recorded in Guelmim-Oued Noun (26 in Guelmim, 15 in Assa Zag, one case in Sidi Ifni and another in Tan Tan), 41 in Laayoune-Sakia El Hamra ( 30 in Laâyoune and 11 in Es-Smara) and 5 infections in the province of Oued Ed-Dahab (Dakhla-Oued Ed-Dahab).
