5,745 new coronavirus cases were recorded in Morocco during the past 24 hours, bringing the total number of Covid-19 infections in the country to 235,310.
3,977 new recoveries were recorded in the past 24 hours, bringing the total number of recoveries in the Kingdom to 193,886.
82 deaths were recorded between yesterday and today, bringing the total number of deaths to 3,982. 26 of these deaths were recorded in the region of Casablanca-Settat, 18 in the Oriental, 13 in Rabat-Salé-Kénitra, 8 in Marrakech-Safi, 6 in Beni Mellal-Khénifra, 4 in Fès-Meknès, 3 in Souss-Massa, 2 in Laâyoune-Sakia El Hamra, one death in Tanger-Tétouan-Al Hoceima and another in Drâa-Tafilalet.
The country has 37,442 active cases, including 886 in critical conditions. 66 of them are on ventilators.
Casablanca-Settat comes first, with 2,478 new cases: 2,059 in Casablanca, 86 in Settat, 81 in Mohammedia, 60 in Nouaceur, 54 in Sidi Bennour, 54 in El Jadida, 45 in Berrechid, 23 in Mediouna and 16 cases in Benslimane. Then comes Rabat-Salé-Kenitra, with 896 new cases: 392 in Salé, 205 in Skhirat-Témara, 142 in Kénitra, 96 in Rabat, 46 in Khemisset and 15 cases in Sidi Kacem.
The Oriental region follows with 781 new infections: 424 in Oujda-Angad, 102 in Berkane, 80 in Nador, 67 in Taourirt, 37 in Guercif, 28 in Figuig, 25 in Jerada and 18 cases in Driouch. 379 cases were confirmed in Tanger-Tétouan-Al Hoceima: 131 in Tanger-Assilah, 77 in Tétouan, 63 in M'Diq-Fnideq, 45 in Al Hoceima, 30 in Larache, 26 in Chefchaouen and 7 cases in Ouazzane.
Marrakech-Safi recorded 290 new cases: 180 in Marrakech, 33 in Kelaa des Sraghna, 24 in Youssoufia, 23 in Essaouira, 15 in Rhamna, 8 in Chichaoua and 7 cases in Al Haouz province. Souss-Massa has 257 new cases: 189 in Agadir-Ida-Ou-Tanane, 34 in Inzegane-Ait Melloul, 18 in Taroudant, 9 in Tiznit and 7 cases in Chtouka-Ait Baha.
In Beni Mellal-Khénifra, 182 new infections were confirmed: 82 in Khouribga, 52 in Fqih Bensaleh, 30 in Azilal, 11 in Khénifra and 7 cases in Beni Mellal.
144 infections were recorded in Drâa-Tafilalet (55 in Errachidia, 44 in Midelt, 18 in Tinghir, 18 in Ouarzazate and 9 cases in Zagora), 132 confirmed cases in the province of Oued Ed-Dahab (Dakhla-Oued Ed-Dahab).
90 infections were confirmed in Fès-Meknes (25 in Fez, 18 in Taza, 15 in Meknes, 15 in Ifrane, 11 in Sefrou, 4 in El Hajeb and two cases in Boulmane), 66 in Guelmim- Oued Noun (58 in Guelmim, 3 in Tan Tan, 3 in Sidi Ifni and two cases in Assa Zag) and 50 in Laâyoune-Sakia El Hamra (40 in Laâyoune, 8 in Es-Smara and 2 cases in Tarfaya).
