Covid-19 in Morocco : 102 new infections and 3,961,941 people vaccinated as of Monday

102 new coronavirus cases were recorded in Morocco during the past 24 hours, bringing the total number of Covid-19 infections in the country to 486,325. 3,961,941 people have received the first dose of the Covid-19 vaccine so far, while 651,351 people have received the second.

304 new recoveries were recorded during the same period, bringing the total number of recoveries to 472,544.

One death was recorded the Marrakech-Safi region, bringing the total number of Covid-19-related deaths to 8,683.

The country has 5,098 active cases, including 389 in critical conditions. 19 of them are on ventilators.

The Oriental region recorded 32 infections: 28 in Oujda-Angad and 4 in Nador. Then comes Casablanca-Settat with 30 cases: 24 in Casablanca, 4 in El Jadida, 1 in Nouaceur and 1 in Mohammedia.

Rabat-Salé-Kénitra follows with 12 cases: 6 in Rabat, 9 in Salé, 3 in Kénitra, 2 in Skhirat-Témara and 1 in Sidi Slimane. 8 infections were confirmed in Marrakech (Marrakech-Safi).

Tangier-Tétouan-Al Hoceima recorded 7 new cases: 4 in Ouazzane, 2 in M'Diq-Fnideq and 1 in Chefchaouen. Beni Mellal-Khénifra confirmed 5 new infections: 4 in Khouribga and 1 in Beni Mellal.

5 cases were recorded in Souss-Massa (3 in Agadir-Ida-Ou-Tanane, 1 in Inzegane-Ait Melloul and 1 in Tiznit), 2 in Drâa-Tafilalet (1 in Errachidia and 1 in Zagora) and one case in Laâyoune (Laâyoune-Sakia El Hamra).
