Covid-19 in Morocco : 108 new infections and 4 deaths on Monday

108 new coronavirus cases were recorded in Morocco during the past 24 hours, bringing the total number of Covid-19 infections in the country to 519,216. 8,674,931 people have received the first dose of the Covid-19 vaccine so far, while 5,468,470 people have received the second.

163 new recoveries were recorded during the same period, bringing the total number of recoveries to 507,125.

4 deaths were recorded between yesterday and today, bringing the total number of deaths to 9,147. 3 of these deaths were recorded in the region of Casablanca-Settat and 1 in Drâa-Tafilalet.

The country has 2,944 active cases, including 231 in critical conditions. 9 of them are on ventilators.

The region of Casablanca-Settat leads with 40 cases: 32 in Casablanca, 6 in El Jadida, 1 in Nouaceur and 1 in Berrechid. Souss-Massa identified 26:23 in Agadir-Ida Ou Tanane and 3 in Taroudant. Dakhla-Oued Ed-Dahab follows with 11 cases in Oued-Ed Dahab.

Then comes Rabat-Salé-Kénitra with 8 cases: 5 in Rabat, 2 in Skhirate-Témara and 1 in Kénitra. Tangier-Tetouan-Al Hoceïma counted 7 cases: 6 in Tangier-Assilah and 1 in Ouezzane. Marrakech-Safi follows with 6 cases in Marrakech. Fès-Meknes has identified 3 in Fez.

The Oriental has confirmed 3 cases in Nador. Beni Mellal-Khénifra counted 2 cases in Khouribga. Drâa-Tafilal identified 1 case in Ouarzazate. Laâyoune-Es Sakia El Hamra follows with 1 case in Tarfaya. Finally, Guelmim-Oued Noun remains the only region without new cases during the past 24 hours.
