Two young Moroccan boys living in Ceuta with the Samu Foundation bravely jumped into the water to rescue a struggling 16-year-old on Monday, May 26th, according to local online newspaper El Faro de Ceuta.

The incident happened around 6:30 PM on Chorrillo beach. The boys, who are minors themselves, were participating in a Samu Foundation activity when they spotted the Ceutan teenager struggling in the water.

Without hesitation, they jumped in to help him back to shore before calling emergency services.

The two boys are residents of one of the resources allocated by the Autonomous City for children from Morocco who arrive in Ceuta, managed by Samu in the Piniers area.
