Young Moroccan judokas shine at 2024 African Judo Championships with multiple medals

At the 2024 African Judo Championships (Cadets), held in Yaoundé, Cameroon, from August 15 to 18, young Moroccan judokas excelled, winning several medals.

The tournament brought together top talents in the cadet category from across the continent. Moroccan athletes claimed gold, silver, and bronze medals in various weight categories, reaffirming Morocco's position as one of Africa's leading judo nations.

Moroccan gold medals were won by Amina El Allaoui Charifi (52kg) and Yasmine Hariss (70kg). The silver medal was claimed by Ilyas Aijoui (60kg), while Anis Aijoui secured a bronze medal in the 55kg category.
