Kickboxer Karim Ghajji retained his Wako Pro (-78 kg) world title with a points victory over Spain's Alex Fernandez in El Jadida on Saturday evening. This unanimous victory by the judges, at the end of an explosive fight lasting 5 rounds of three minutes each, is synonymous with the 16th world title for the French-Moroccan athlete.
«This world title is the fruit of good preparation and good input from my coaches. I dedicate it to the Moroccan people», asserted Karim Ghajji in a statement to MAP, saying he was all the prouder that this victory came against a kickboxer who was virtually unbeaten on the circuit.
