Five Moroccan teams will represent the Kingdom at the World Robot Olympiad™ final, held from November 28 to 30, 2024, in Izmir, Turkey. This international competition, which brings together young talents from all over the globe each year, is distinguished by its mission : promoting innovation and robotics.

Among the Moroccan teams in the running are The Cybernauts (El Jadida) in the Senior Robomission category, as well as four teams from Tangier – Mindcraft (Future Engineers), Mindcraft Bravo (Junior Robomission), Mindcraft Delta (Elementary Robomission) – and NexTech (Casablanca) for Future Innovators Senior.

These young prodigies earned their qualification during the national tournament held in May 2024 in Casablanca, under the auspices of the LOOP For Science & Technology Association. The 2024 edition promises to be the most ambitious to date, with a record number of participants and countries represented.

The LOOP For Science & Technology Association, founded in 2018, works to promote STEAM education (science, technology, engineering, arts, and mathematics) among young people in Morocco. It is affiliated with international programs such as FIRSTⓇ and the World Robot Olympiad™.
