In a recent operation, security authorities conducted a raid on an apartment in the Ocean neighborhood of Rabat, uncovering a disturbing scene. Initial investigations revealed that the location was being used to film sexual activities. According to the newspaper Assabah, the apartment was occupied by a young man and his partner, both of whom were allegedly involved in illegal activities. They have since been detained and referred to the King's prosecutor.
During the raid, authorities discovered evidence of torture on the hand of a victim from a Gulf country, raising suspicions of human trafficking and abuse. Further investigations revealed that the suspects had been recording these activities using cameras and sharing the footage with friends at private gatherings.
Security officers seized the detainees' phones, uncovering stored videos on the main suspect's device. The King's prosecutor has ordered these phones to be sent to a digital trace analysis lab to determine if a broader network is involved. There are also indications that some of these videos may have been leaked to sites outside of Morocco.
The primary victim in the case reported being coerced into illegal sexual activities, filmed without consent, and subjected to torture. In response, the King's prosecutor has directed that the suspects be presented to the investigating judge to proceed with legal procedures.
