Tangier police arrest suspect in money transfer agency robbery

Officers from the Tangier police department arrested a suspect on Monday evening in connection with a robbery at a money transfer agency, according to a security source.

The suspect allegedly stole a sum of money on Monday morning after threatening an employee with a flammable liquid, warning that he would start a fire, the same source reported.

Investigations quickly led to the identification and arrest of the suspect just a few hours later, along with the recovery of the stolen money.

The accused has been placed in custody pending further investigation.
