An El Jadida sports official sentenced to 8 years for child sexual assault

On Tuesday, April 29, the primary criminal chamber in El Jadida sentenced a sports club official to eight years in prison after he was convicted of sexually assaulting an 11-year-old child inside a city stadium.

The case began when the child's father filed a complaint, reporting that his son had been subjected to an attempted sexual exploitation inside an office at the stadium. The accused lured the child under the pretext of collecting balls. Investigations were supported by the testimony of a stadium worker who reported having witnessed similar behavior from the accused in the past.
