French Member of Parliament Hanane Mansouri, representing the Union of Rights for the Republic (UDR), announced on Thursday that she will be filing a complaint after receiving an anonymous letter containing racist and anti-Semitic threats at the National Assembly.
The letter read: «Watch out for the Algerians in Paris and greetings from Samuel Paty», Mansouri responded firmly on X, stating, «You will not intimidate me; I will continue to defend France’s interests».

Recently, Mansouri has been a vocal critic of the Algerian government amid the ongoing tensions between Paris and Algiers. This is not the first time the 24-year-old MP from Isère has faced attacks related to her Moroccan origins; she was also targeted during the French legislative election campaign.
Éric Ciotti has publicly supported Mansouri, affirming that he would never back down «in the face of threats and intimidation».
