Moroccan Karateka Chaimae El Haiti wins silver at Islamic Solidarity Games

Moroccan karateka Chaimae El Haiti claimed the silver medal in the under-55 kg category on Tuesday during the karate competitions at the Islamic Solidarity Games.

El Haiti finished second after losing in the final to Uzbekistan’s Sevinch Rakhimova with a score of 7–3.

This marks Morocco’s second silver medal at the Games, following the one won by the national futsal team.

Last Saturday, Moroccan judoka Soumiya Iraoui secured a bronze medal in the under-52 kg category, defeating Kazakhstan’s Abeuova Tolganay in the match for third place.
