Ryanair selects Rabat as one of its top destinations for 2026

Ryanair has unveiled its five flagship destinations for 2026, with Rabat standing out as the airline’s key pick in Morocco. As the year draws to a close, Europe’s leading low-cost carrier is already looking ahead, highlighting the cities expected to attract the most travelers across its network of more than 235 destinations.

For Rabat, 2026 marks a major milestone. Ryanair will open a new base in the Moroccan capital in April, deploying two aircraft and expanding its program to 20 routes connecting the city to several major European destinations, reads a press release by the airline company. The move is set to significantly boost Rabat’s accessibility and position it as a prime city-break destination.

Described by the airline as a city that blends tradition and modernity, Rabat is praised for its coastal views, refined architecture, historic landmarks, and growing cultural scene. With this expansion, Ryanair is betting on the Moroccan capital as a must-visit destination for affordable and authentic travel in 2026, alongside European cities such as Bratislava, Tirana, Pescara, and Gdańsk.
