Morocco falls to Senegal as they clinch the AFCON 2025 title

The Senegalese national football team secured the Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON 2025) title by edging out Morocco 1-0 in a tense match that extended into extra time on Sunday evening at Rabat's Prince Moulay Abdellah Stadium.

The decisive goal came from Pape Alassane Gueye, who found the back of the net in the 94th minute of extra time.
