The Ministry of Digital Transition and Administrative Reform announced that Morocco will revert to standard time (Greenwich Mean Time) starting at 3:00 a.m. on Sunday, February 15, 2026, to coincide with the beginning of the holy month of Ramadan.

In a statement, the ministry said the move is in line with Prime Ministerial Decision No. 3.06.26, issued on Sha’ban 9, 1447 (January 29, 2026), which provides for a temporary return to standard time during Ramadan.

The ministry added that, following the end of Ramadan, clocks will be set forward by 60 minutes at 2:00 a.m. on Sunday, March 22, 2026, marking a return to the country’s daylight saving time.
