Morocco’s National Road Safety Agency has warned of a fake website impersonating its identity in an attempt to deceive users and carry out fraud.
In a statement issued Monday, the agency said the fraudulent platform uses a link bearing its name and visual identity, (https://narsa-govt.site/#Services), to mislead users.
The agency clarified that the website has no connection whatsoever to its operations and holds no official authorization to offer any related services. It added that the platform appears designed to collect users’ personal and sensitive data through fraudulent means, particularly via phishing.
As a result, the National Road Safety Agency urged citizens and service users to exercise extreme caution when encountering such suspicious links, avoid clicking on them, and verify information only through its official websites: www.narsa.ma and https://perminou.narsa.gov.ma.
It also warned against entering or sharing any personal or sensitive data — including banking information or passwords — on such platforms, calling on users to report any suspicious activity to the relevant authorities immediately.
