Darren Osborne, the 47-year-old man who drove a van on the early hours of Monday in front of a mosque in Finsbury Park, killing one and injuring 11 others has been charged of «terrorism-related murder and attempted murder», the BBC news reports.
Osborne, who was arrested on Monday after targeting Muslim worshippers on their way out of the mosque was put in custody by the Westminster Magistrates' Court.
Around midnight, earlier this Monday, a man in a van drove over pedestrians near Muslim Welfare house, a community centre located in north London while shouting I want «to kill all Muslims».
Makram Ali, a 51-year-old Muslim from Banglasesh was killed in the attack. «Ali had earlier collapsed and was receiving first aid from a passerby when the van attack happened. Paramedics could not save him and he was pronounced dead at the scene at 1.04am», the Guardian indicates.
