The Moroccan boxer, Ahmed El Mousaoui won his fight against Carlos Molina, a Mexican professional boxer in the Light Middleweight division and a former IBF Champion, on Saturday evening at Zénith Paris, reports his manager via a statement sent to Yabiladi.
A deserved victory after a 10-round confrontation, widely against the 34-year-old veteran, 25th in the world.
«Ahmed El Mousaoui unveiled his intentions in the first rounds and was able to impose his rhythm, with precise exchanges, direct and counters. He managed to control the distance, chain his punches and put much more pressure on his opponent, which allowed him to knock him out in the second round».
Ahmed El Mousaoui was declared the winner following a unanimous decision of the judges (98 to 91 - 98 to 93 - 96 to 93).
This victory, the most important in his career so far, will allow him to achieve a significant status in the world rankings and to aspire to an intercontinental or international belt in early 2018.
For the record, Ahmed El Mousaoui began his preparations in August in Tetouan, before rallying France and Spain for intensive training. He currently has 31 fights to his credit, including 27 wins, and three defeats
