After it was shot in Morocco, producers release «John Wick»’s trailer

After they were spotted in Morocco back in October, the stars of the American franchise movie «John Wick» are in full action in the film’s trailer, released on January the 17th.

American Academy Award winner Halle Berry is helping Canadian actor, director, producer, and musician Keanu Reeves escape the bad guys who want to kill him in the franchise’s third installment.

In the 2-minute trailer, Reeves is seen running in the streets of New York and then in the Sahara, in Morocco, where he meets Halle Berry.

In one the Kingdom’s ancient markets Reeves and Berry are fighting for their life in an epic exchange of gunfire.

The two Hollywood starts flew to Morocco in October to shoot part of the movie. Through social media Reeves and Berry posted photos of them in Essaouira.

The movie’s crew have been on set in Morocco from the 15th of August until the 1st of December. Essaouira was not the only Moroccan city on the list of the «John Wick»'s crew as the actors shot some scenes in Kenitra, Casablanca, Marrakech, Ouarzazate, Fes, Erfoud, Merzouga and Errachidia.

The film created by Derek Kolstad and directed by Chad Stahelski will be released in the US on May 17th, 2019.
