Tangier : The Plaza de Toros might be turned into a shopping center

Tangier’s Plaza de Toros, a Spanish plaza that has been abandoned for several years, might be turned into a shopping center or theater, reports Spanish news agency EFE.

Last month, the city council in Tangier announced that it has chosen a model for the restoration of the historical arena, commonly known as Plaza de Toros.

The city had to choose between a scheme presented by Spanish architects Francisco Javier Andres Esteve and Alejandro Plaza Marcos and a second one submitted by Spanish architects Alonso Garcia, Maciej Sutula and Alvaro Maestro Garcia.
