A delegation from Tafra Association, led by Ahmed Zefzafi, was received Monday in Rabat by the Chairperson of the National Human Rights Council (CNDH) Amina Bouayach, the NGO said in a statement posted on its Facebook page.
The meeting was an opportunity to «examine the situation of Hirak detainees, the condition of their families and important points related to their demands», the same source said, without giving further details.
The two parties agreed on the «need of holding other meetings to further discuss what was discussed Monday».
Two weeks ago, Hirak detainees’ families asked to meet the leaders of the Moroccan prison administration and CNDH to let them know about the request of Hirak detainees, which was about gathering them in one prison, namely Nador 2.
