Morocco to celebrate Eid al-Fitr on Wednesday

Moroccans to celebrate Eid al-Fitr, Wednesday, June 5, the Ministry of Endowments and Islamic Affairs announced Tuesday.

In a statement, the ministry said that the crescent moon was sighted after Tuesday’s Maghrib prayer in the kingdom, marking the beginning of Shawwal, 1440.
