Morocco suspends flights to and from Germany, the Netherlands, Belgium and Portugal

As part of the monitoring of the evolution of the coronavirus pandemic at the international level, Morocco has decided to suspend, until further notice, all flights to and from Germany, the Netherlands, Belgium and Portugal, the ministry of Foreign Affairs, African Cooperation and Moroccans abroad has announced.

This decision is similar to the one regarding the suspension of air, sea and maritime connections with Italy, Spain and France, the source said, adding that these measures had been notified directly to the concerned countries within the framework of a consultative approach.

Moroccan authorities will continue to monitor the situation throughout the various countries and take the necessary measures, the ministry pointed out.

According to the same source, air and maritime connections will be resumed once this global health crisis is over.
