While waiting to see their Italian compatriots repatriated from Morocco, Moroccan-Italians have announced that they are offering stays in their apartments in the kingdom for the stranded tourists.

«My name is Nabil, I am Moroccan and I have lived in Bologna for 20 years. I offer my apartment in Morocco, in Fez, to all Italians who may have housing problems. We hope everything is going well», he told Le Iene.

This proposal «is only one of the many offers made by the Moroccan community in Italy».

400,000 Moroccans live and work in Italy, the same source indicates, adding that «many of them have offered stays in their houses in Morocco for Italians who were stranded there because of the coronavirus».

Hakima, a Moroccan-Italian living in Milan, and Mounim have also offered stays in their Morocco houses for Italian tourists who were unable to return to their country after Morocco halted air and maritime travel with the country.
