278 Moroccans stranded in the Sultanate of Oman, Qatar and Jordan after the closure of air, land and sea borders due to the novel coronavirus pandemic were repatriated on Monday.
The operation, which benefited 130 Moroccans stranded in Oman, 86 in Qatar and 62 in Jordan, was conducted via a Royal Air Maroc (RAM) flight from the Sultanate of Oman, passing through Doha and Amman before taking off for Al Massira airport in Agadir.
This humanitarian operation was supervised by the Kingdom's embassies in Muscat, Doha and Amman, in coordination with the authorities of those countries, in order to ensure the return of Moroccan citizens in the best possible conditions.
