693 new coronavirus cases were recorded in Morocco during the past 24 hours, bringing the total number of Covid-19 infections in the country to 25,015.
302 new recoveries were recorded in the past 24 hours, bringing the total number of recoveries in the Kingdom to 17,960.
14 deaths were recorded between yesterday and today. The total number of deaths related to Covid-19 reached 367.
Morocco now has 6,688 active cases under treatment, most of them are in the region of Tangier-Tétouan-Al Hoceïma (2,012), Casablanca-Settat (1,660), Fez-Meknès (1,634), Marrakech-Safi (608), Rabat-Salé-Kénitra (409), l'Oriental (108), Drâa-Tafilalet (83), Beni Mellal-Khénifra (81), Dakhla-Oued Ed Dahab (48), Souss-Massa (32) , Laâyoune-Es Sakia El Hamra (10) and Guelmim-Oued Noun (3).
88 of these cases are considered to be in serious or critical condition due to age and / or chronic illnesses. 25 of them are in Casablanca, 25 in Tangier, 19 in Marrakech, 10 in Fez, 7 in and 2 in Souss-Massa.
The new cases were recoded in Tanger-Tétouan-Al Hoceïma, with 330 infections : 313 in Tangier, 9 in Tetouan, 5 in Al Fahs Anjra, 1 in Larache, Ouazzane and M’diq.
Fez-Meknes recorded 209 cases in the last 24 hours : 164 in Fez, 16 in Meknes, 9 in Taza, 7 in Sefrou, 4 in El Hajeb, 3 in Boulemane, 3 in Moulay Yacoub, 2 in Taounate and 1 in Ifrane.
Rabat-Salé-Kénitra confirmed 80 cases : 27 in Salé, 24 in Rabat, 23 in Sidi Kacem, 4 in Témara, 1 in Sidi Slimane and in Kénitra. Casablanca-Settat recorded 41 cases, including 30 in Casablanca and 7 in Nouaceur.
The Oriental region recorded 13 : 6 in Jerada, 3 in Guersif, 2 in Oujda, 1 in Figuig and 1 in Berkane. Marrakech-Safi also recorded 13 cases, all in Marrakech. Beni Mellal-Khénifra had 5 cases, in the city of Béni Mellal. Drâa-Tafilalet recorded 2 cases, 1 in Zagora and 1 in Tinghir.
