Contrary to the Polisario’s wishes, the Sumar ministers have not withdrawn from the Spanish government. They have voiced no opposition to last week’s reaffirmation of Spain’s support for Morocco’s position on the Sahara. However, the five ministers did not hesitate to express their disagreement with the head of government on a different issue.
