Local authorities in Tangier have abruptly halted the creation of a new mural on the facade of the Medina's Coffee Cultural Cherifa, much to the dismay of the cafe's owner, Youssef Chabaa Hadri. The mural, intended to be a vibrant addition by a French artist on a voluntary artistic tour, was stopped just hours after it began, despite initial approval from local administration.
